The ranking from Freeskier Magazine lists Whistler Blackcomb as the No. 1 resort in the Pacific Rim and remains their favourite place to ski overall. "Whistler Blackcomb once again topped our list of the best places to ski because of the unbeatable combination of epic big-mountain terrain, advanced park features and raging nightlife," says Matt Harvey, Senior Editor of Freeskier. Condé Nast Traveler Annual Readers' Choice Awards - November 2006
Whistler hotels swept the top three spots for the top ten Canadian resorts. The Pan Pacific Mountainside, Four Seasons Resort Whistler and the Westin Resort Whistler nabbed first, second and third place respectively. The prestigious annual list also ranked the Fairmont Chateau Whistler at number six. Whistler hotels garnered more rankings than any other Canadian destination.
