Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club | Whistler Retreats

Fairmont Chateau WHistlerCarved out of the mountain slopes at the base of Blackcomb, the Chateau Whistler Golf Club has an elevation gain of more than 400 feet.  Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., this par 72 course traverses rushing mountain streams and features spectacular views.

Golfers can now enjoy the newly installed complimentary ProShot Satellite Yardage System, a computer aided "satellite caddy" on board every cart.  Accurate within one yard, the information provided includes yardage from the cart to the middle of the green, distance to and over hazards, as well as basic information traditionally supplied by a caddy.  This system not only helps the golfer make good decisions, but also increases pace of play, as it eliminates the need to search for yardage markers.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Course The Chateau Whistler & Chateau Whistler Golf Club are fully equipped to handle both large group functions and casual apres-golf dining.   The facility features a complete restaurant and lounge area with patio, a pro shop and locker rooms.

The Chateau Whistler Golf Club was awarded "Canada's Best New Golf Course for 1993" by Golf Digest Magazine.   The magazine continued their recognition and gave Chateau Whistler "4 1/2 stars for 1996 & 1997," which is a must play rating.  1997 will also be known as the year when the Chateau Whistler Golf Club was introduced as a member to the "Great Golf Resorts of the World" and also honoured with the coveted "Gold Medal Award" by Golf Magazine.
