For winter, both mountains offer exceptional skiing and snowboarding with a combined total of 200 runs and 32 lifts. Blackcomb is called the Mile-High Mountain, with the longest lift-serviced vertical (1609 m) and longest uninterrupted fall line skiing in North America.
Whistler Mountain is the official ski area for the Canadian National Ski Team, and has North America’s lift-serviced vertical at (1,530 m). With the longest runs stretching for 11 kilometers. They have the largest combined ski area on the continent, with 7,000 acres of ski-able terrain, over 200 trails, 12 massive alpine bowls and 3 glaciers.
