Escape Route Presents the 30th Annual Rubble Creek Classic Run
September 27, 2015 in Whistler, BC

This is the most scenic trail run you will ever see. Going back to 1985, it is one of the Sea2Sky's longest running events. Runners have been using this run as an annual rite of passage to finish off the season. We have seen sun, rain, snow and even a little hail but that has never stopped us. Dusty trails, big mud puddles and even the occasional knee-deep river crossing, this run has seen different conditions every year.

The race starts at the Cheakamus Lake Trail parking lot with a grueling 1338m climb up the Helm Lake Trail. Proceed though the Cinder Flats with epic views of Black Tusk. From there, runners make their way through the beautiful Taylor Meadows before beginning their knee-jarring 1592m decent to the Garibaldi Lake Trail parking lot.
